Social representations of foreign students about the higher education system in Russia: A Sociological Analysis
This research investigates the social representations of foreign students about the Russian higher education. More specifically, their structure and content, and the factors affecting the formation of social representations of the Russian higher education. For this endeavor, social-psychological and sociological methods are used to analyze data from 189 foreign students in Ekaterinburg. Results identified elements part of the core and the periphery of their social representations, cultural and social factors, and adjacent representations which contribute to the formation of the social representations of the Russian higher education.
