Abstract: Migration of the population is a complex, ambiguous phenomenon that affects the socio-economic, cultural, natural spheres of life. When studying this phenomenon, it is necessary to approach the concept in a comprehensive manner.
There are a huge number of types of migration: international, labor, political, voluntary, involuntary, student, scientific, and so on. But lately it has become increasingly important to study such a kind of migration, as environmental migration.
Environmental migration is migration caused by both sudden natural phenomena and slowly progressing processes of degradation of the human environment. It should be noted that environmental problems such as environmental pollution, excessive industrial and industrial emissions, man-made disasters are among the global problems that can be solved only through cooperation and cooperation of all states.
There is a fairly wide typology and classification of environmental migration, which includes various approaches to analyzing this phenomenon. It should be mentioned that since this species is at the very beginning, the inputs to the general migration science, that is, a single approach to the study of this phenomenon, in fact, as a single, unified definition.
The existence of such a phenomenon as "ecological migration" entails the appearance of a certain number of persons who become its victims. This category of people will include environmental migrants, the social stratum of the population, poorly protected from political, social, and, most importantly, from a legal point of view. At the legal level, this category of persons is officially absent, however, reservations about importance are general concepts for individuals, as well as ways and means to regulate their activities, which are increasingly applied not only to the mass media, but also to official statements by the heads and Representatives of various states.
Today, environmentalists, demographers, legal experts, specialists in the field of social protection are involved. International cooperation is aimed not only at eliminating the effects of environmental pollution, but also on preventing pollution and deterioration, as well as at supporting people who are somehow affected by global environmental change.
