Актуальность темы выпускной квалификационной работы определяется ролью региональной политики ЕС в развитии периферийных регионов Южной Европы в XXI веке. Основная цель работы заключается в характеристике участия периферийных регионов Южной Европы - Андалусии, Калабрии и Алгарви в мероприятиях трех программных периодов XXI века и оценке влияния программ на их уровень социально-экономического развития. Задача состоит в рассмотрении основных направлений и целей региональной политики ЕС в XXI веке, оценке социально-экономического развития периферийных регионов Южной Европы и выяснения причин их отставания и оценке эффективности европейских региональных программ в периферийных регионах Южной Европы.
EU REGIONAL POLICY IN THE PERIPHERIAL REGIONS OF SOUTHERN EUROPE IN THE 21ST CENTURY.

The relevance of the theme of the final qualifying work is determined by the role of the EU regional policy in the development of peripheral regions of Southern Europe in the 21st century. The main purpose of the work is to characterize the participation of the peripheral regions of Southern Europe - Andalusia, Calabria and Algarve in the activities of the three program periods of the 21st century and to assess the impact of programs on their level of socio-economic development. The objective is to consider the main directions and objectives of EU regional policy in the twenty-first century, Evaluation of the socio-economic development of the peripheral regions of Southern Europe and the reasons for their lagging and evaluation of the effectiveness of the European regional programmes in the peripheral regions of Southern Europe.
