Master's thesis consists of an introduction, three chapters, conclusion, bibliography, which includes 83 titles, 1 appendix. The work includes 32 tables and 16 figures. The total volume of the master's thesis is 91 pages.
The relevance of this research is due to the western sanctions and mass withdrawal of international companies from the Russian market. Three of the largest brewers announced their decision to limit its activities and future withdrawal from Russia. This research is aimed to study the Russian brewing industry to understand how the industry can be transformed under new market relaities.
Goal of the research is to assess the rebound effects of business windups in Russia of the brewing industry, and to evaluate new possibilities within the industry.
The scientific novelty of the study lies in the assessment of the readiness of the Russian brewing industry to the sanctions pressure, as well as the withdrawal of foreign capital.
The methodological basis of the study is the use of economic theory to analyze the industry structure, as well the use of econometric analysis to establish relationships between the necessary variables and making decision. The information-empirical base of the research consists of data on the socio-economic indicators and beer sales of Russian regions from the Federal State Statistics Service, volume production of beer and beer drinks by region are taken from the Federal Service for Alcohol Market Regulation, SPARK system is used for data on the revenue of companies in the industry.
The results of this study may be of interest to a wide range of people because they provide insight into the current situation in the industry. The findings and recommendations of this research can help brewery owners effectively plan their production to keep up with new market dynamics. The results can be used to inform production decisions and help businesses in the brewing industry stay competitive.
