Аннотация

This work explores the intricate influence of international economic relations on the pricing policy in the construction sector across Russian regions, shedding light on the dynamics that shape the construction market's pricing mechanisms. Through a comprehensive analysis, this study delves into various factors such as the impact of international economic relations on the construction industry, determinants of pricing in the construction market, sustainable development of Russian regions within the construction sphere, and the pivotal role of the construction sector in regional development.
A thorough review of academic literature on related themes lays the groundwork for this investigation, highlighting the necessity for a nuanced understanding of these complex interactions. By employing econometric analysis principles with a focus on panel regression techniques, this study leverages both Fixed Effects (FE) and Random Effects (RE) models to account for temporal and individual characteristics of Russian regions. The panel data encompasses observations from 2013 to 2023, offering a rich dataset for analysis.
Key variables incorporated into the database include price in the construction industry per region per year, volume of international labor migration in the construction sector, imports of building materials, exchange rate fluctuations, sustainable development initiatives, digitalization levels, volume of foreign direct investment, regional population, Gross Regional Product (GRP) and regional inflation levels.
The hypothesis posits that changes in the international economic relations agenda have significantly influenced the pricing growth within the construction and development sectors in Russian regions over the past decade. This assertion is examined through the lens of global economic dynamics, including globalization, international labor migration, exchange rates, geopolitical situations, and digitalization impacts.
This study aims to fill a notable gap in existing literature by providing a comprehensive analysis of the effects of international economic relations on construction pricing policies in Russian regions. Prior research has extensively covered global economic relations' impact on various sectors but has often overlooked the construction industry. Our findings contribute to a deeper understanding of how global trends and domestic policies intertwine to shape pricing strategies in Russia's construction sector.
