This paper examines the socio-economic trends of international tourism and its impact on the world economy, socio-cultural interaction and regional development. The study is devoted to the main directions of international tourism development, considering modern problems and trends in the development of the industry. The study is based on a statistical and comparative analysis of the current state of international tourism and its impact on the socio-economic development of countries, an assessment of the impact of international tourism on employment, income and infrastructure development in the participating countries, as well as the study of the relationship between the development of international tourism and socio-cultural processes in society. The study emphasizes the importance of tourism for the economy, cultural exchange, sustainable development of international socio-economic relations, cooperation in the field of tourism and improving the standard of living of the population. The novelty of the research lies in the comprehensive analysis of the impact of the main directions of the development of international tourism on the socio-economic processes in the modern world. The purpose of the study is to determine the main directions for the development of international tourism, considering socio-economic trends.
