The topic of changes in the state and prospects of development of Russia's foreign economic relations with the countries of the European-Asian Economic Union (hereinafter - EAEU) in the field of mechanical engineering is relevant and important, since Russia's foreign economic relations with the EAEU countries are of strategic importance for Russia's economic development, and mechanical engineering is one of the key sectors of the economy. The aim of the study is to identify changes in the state and determine the prospects for the development of Russia's foreign economic relations with EAEU member states in the mechanical engineering industry. The object of the study is the relationship between the EAEU member states. The subject of the study is integration and cooperation projects in the mechanical engineering industry. It has been revealed that most of the EAEU socio-economic indicators show positive dynamics, which opens prospects for further cooperation between Russia and the EAEU member states. Russia holds leading positions in key indicators, such as GDP and trade, which emphasizes its important role in the EAEU economy. In general, the development of foreign economic ties is a key factor for Russia's economic growth strategy and cooperation with integration associations. The EAEU provides new opportunities for expanding international cooperation in various sectors, including mechanical engineering. However, the development of these ties depends on such factors as political understanding, availability of high-tech products, the level of investments and trust between countries. the development of Russia's foreign economic ties with EAEU countries in the mechanical engineering industry continues to progress and strengthen. However, it is necessary to consider possible negative influences, such as changes in the world economy, political and economic crises, and sanctions. To achieve a stable and promising partnership, it is necessary to improve infrastructure, create favorable conditions for business, support innovative activities and increase investments in the industry. Mechanical engineering enterprises of EAEU member countries carry out activities that support various sustainable development goals, complying with global requirements for environmental conservation and improvement of the quality of life.
