Аннотация

This article presents a comparative analysis of the impact of the trend of the introduction of green technologies (GT) on economic growth (EG) in developed and developing countries. Two models are used for different groups of countries to make an objective comparison. Apply a panel set of data on 15 developed and 15 developing countries for the period from 2000 to 2021, the relationship between the indicators of GT and EG is analyzed. The paper uses an econometric research method using FE and RE models. A statistical analysis of trends in the introduction of GT in different groups of countries has been carried out. The following variables were used in the work: GDP, Renewable energy consumption, Number of patents on environmental technologies, CO2 emissions from transport, Annual freshwater withdrawals in agriculture, Renewable internal freshwater resources per capital, Natural resources depletion, Fossil fuel energy consumption. The main conclusions of the work are that GT is unevenly implemented in different countries depending on the growth, their effect on the EG indicators of countries depends on many factors that will be considered in future studies. GT has both a positive and negative impact on the economic performance of modern countries. Now, in conditions of different experience in the application of such technologies, development and use can be expensive and require a certain level of labor. Despite the different effects of GT in developed and developing countries, their implementation can become a key factor in EG and development in these countries, and also in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals by overcoming the main problems of humanity at this moment.
