Climate change and limited natural resources are global challenges that require immediate action to address the impacts and prevent further negative trends. The issue of preserving the environment and its natural resources is closely related to the transformation of the economy into an environmentally oriented one. This, in turn, has a significant impact on the labor market in the countries of the European Union (EU).
In addition, the achievement of environmental safety and sustainable development also leads to the emergence of new forms of work and business organization focused on environmental interests. This includes the creation of social and environmental enterprises, as well as environmental start-ups that carry out environmentally significant and social projects.
The object of research is the labor market in the EU countries within the framework of the formation of an environmentally oriented economy. The subject of the research is the peculiarities of the transformation of the labor market in the EU countries. The purpose of the thesis is to reveal the essence of ecological economics and study the experience of leading countries in the field of environmentally oriented innovations. Based on this goal, the following tasks can be formulated: to study the theoretical and methodological aspects of the "ecological" economy as a component of sustainable development and analyze the features of the transformation of the labor market in the EU countries in an environmentally oriented economy.
The environmentally oriented economy does have a significant impact. This is due to the fact that over the past few decades there has been a big trend towards the development of the environmental sector of the economy. Moreover, the problem of ecology is now very relevant and not a little important in the world. Many countries are striving to come to an environmentally friendly economy, and as we can see, European countries have done it best.
