Аннотация

In this document, we will try to explain what greenwashing is, what are the impacts of this process but also look for solutions and recommendations to limit and minimize it. It should be noted that no real solution has been found to eliminate greenwashing but many measures (such as laws, labels or mandatory information on products) are being put in place in some countries to limit these lies. The main problem with this process is an asymmetry of information, which encourages a consumer to buy something, without really knowing where it comes from. Greenwashing took hold in the 2000s, at the same time as the beginning of the real consumer society as it is understood today. Today it is modified along with the changes due to the evolutions and expectations of our society. To better understand this process and thus reduce it as much as possible, we sought to understand exactly what the economic, social and technological consequences were in our society. Thus, by better understanding these consequences, we have found measures applicable on different scales and domains: human health and our behaviour in terms of consumption habits, animal protection and our environment as a whole. The aim today is to preserve these three elements in order to
live in a more stable and healthy world. There are many solutions, but we can say today that legal measures are the most drastic, because of the economic and penal sanctions against Greenwashing on companies. To change things in the long term, we will talk more about educating future generations, so that they have other ways to consume our world.
