Влияние кросс-культурных рисков на деятельность международных компаний во Франции / The impact of cross-cultural risks on the operations of international companies in France
Аннотация
The relevance of the study is due to the increasing influence of cross-cultural risks on the activities of international companies in France.
Building an effective risk management system in the organization based on recognized international approaches is an opportunity to avoid the occurrence of a negative event or to reduce the effect of its occurrence. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the existing international experience in order to adapt it.
The purpose of this work is to research the socio-cultural characteristics of France, to identify cross-cultural risks and threats that may affect the conduct of business in international companies.
The aim of the research: to make a comparative cross-cultural analysis based on the models of G. Hoftsted, F. Trompenaars and S. Schwartz. The object of the research is the activity of international companies in France. The results of the study will be used to analyze international risk management models and provide recommendations for the prevention of cultural risks and threats in France.
The subject of the research is cross-cultural risks affecting the business of international companies.
Identification of cultural factors in France using the methodologies of Hofstede, Trompenaars and Schwartz through statistical measures such as quartiles and emission criteria based on the Z-score, defining values that are outside the typical variation of the data. Thus, based on my research, I conclude that intellectual autonomy is one of the most significant cross-cultural risks faced by companies operating internationally in France. This means that the French value freedom of thought and autonomy in decision-making, which can cause certain challenges for foreign companies trying to successfully develop in the French market.
Based on the threats identified, recommendations have been developed to prevent them in order to ensure the success of large international companies in France. The practical significance of this research is that the data and recommendations obtained can be used when doing business with international companies in France.
The thesis also underlines the aspect of sustainability. The results of this study can be used by international companies to facilitate their entry into the French market.
