This paper examines the theoretical and methodological issues of the study of socio-economic inequality of the population in African countries.
One of the features of the study is the use of with statistical information of extensive sociological material. A wide range of literature, including scientific papers by scientists from different countries, makes this study particularly valuable information for managing income differentiation.
In the course of this work, the causes of income inequality and various indicators of economic growth are considered, which are also used to build an econometric model. The interpretation of the model draws attention to the main directions of regulation of population inequality in African countries
We stress the need for improved transparency and statistical capacities, at the level of African countries and at the level of Africa as a whole, to properly monitor the distribution of economic growth in coming decades. And we offer some recommendations for the sustainable development of the economy in order to reduce income differentiation.
This work will be of great help to specialists of state institutions, scientists, graduate students, and students of economic specialties, as well as to all those interested in the living standards of the population of African countries and the development of territorial socio-economic systems.
