Transnational corporations have become the subject of the global economy and the focal point of new global economic connections as a result of globalization. Transnational firms have such impact that their image can often influence the image of the company's home country. Many Russian transnational firms that have established and actively evolved during the last two decades are in the same situation. The study's focus is on Russia's image on the international scene. The study's focus is on how Russian TNCs' overseas activities influence the construction of Russia's image. The goal of this paper is to examine the place and role of Russian TNCs in the formation of Russia's image. The study assumes that the problem of negative impressions of
Russia, which have already been generated as a result of Russian TNCs' international activity, can be solved by TNCs' efforts. It is owing to the fact that TNCs will seek to shape their own image, including increasing the level of development of business ethics, increasing transparency, and solving acute social and environmental problems.
As a result, if Russia has a single image policy and Russian TNCs have a cohesive policy as an image-creating institution, the process of forming a favorable image of Russia on the global arena will be effective. The scientific works of native and foreign experts in the fields of world economy, international business, and imageology provide the study's methodological foundation.
