Аннотация
The study of economic growth is one of the priorities of the economy, since on this basis the well-being of society is ensured and the high competitiveness of the national economy in the world economy is achieved.
The urgency of the problem and its practical significance determined the choice of the topic, the goals and objectives of this work.
The purpose of this work is to assess the impact of the European migration crisis on the economic performance of host countries. In accordance with the set goal, tasks were formulated that determined the logic of work and its structure:
- theoretically investigates economic growth, its causes and regulation mechanisms;
- study of the economic dynamics of the EU countries in the period from 2010 to 2019;
- taking into account the impact of migration to Europe on economic growth;
- to simulate the consequences of the European migration crisis.
Assessment of the impact of the European migration crisis on indicators such as GDP per capita, unemployment and poverty rates.
Structurally, the work consists of an introduction, two chapters, a conclusion and a list of used literature.
The results of this study confirm the benefits associated with the arrival of immigrants.
