Now people cannot live without high-tech devices and gadgets, everyone wants to have more modern and convenient equipment, so the demand for such goods is growing every day. This paper examines the impact of the development of high-tech industries and industrial goods on the position of countries in international trade by studying Japan and the United States.
The aim of the work is to study the factors that create a relationship between the development of high-tech industries and international trade between countries. To achieve this goal, such tasks as identifying the relationship between high technologies and international trade; studying global trends in the development of high-tech industries; studying the ratings of innovative economies; considering the historical path of development of high-tech industries in the countries under study and their current situation were identified; analysis of the impact of factors indicating the level of high technology in the country on international trade.
According to the results of the study, it was found that the increase in the number of high-tech industries in the country's economy has a negative impact on trade indicators. However, the volume of high-tech exports and R & D spending have a positive impact on the share of trade in the GDP of Japan and the United States. The study showed that in order to develop countries ' trade positions on the world stage through high technologies, national governments should develop innovative policies for the export of high-tech goods and services, which can be improved by investing more in R&D.
