Анализ влияния параметров шрифта на скорость чтения текстов на русском языке
Аннотация
Работа посвящена анализу состояния вопроса по теме исследования, особое внимание уделено существующим методикам исследования, детально рассмотрены результаты сравнительных оценок юзабилити кириллических шрифтов. Также описаны методики исследования, использованные в данной работе, в том числе доработанная нами методика определения времени чтения. При изучении вопроса была предпринята попытка выявить закономерности, связывающие восприятие текста и его пространственные характеристики. С помощью используемой методики оценена сравнительная объективная удобочитаемость (скорость чтения) для десяти современных шрифтов, среди сотрудников и преподавателей высшего учебного заведения. В результате изучена зависимость восприятия представления текстовой информации от пространственных характеристик гарнитуры текста на примере скорости чтения. Результаты исследования могут быть использованы при наборе учебных пособий для студентов дневных отделений с целью облегчения восприятия текста, а также методических пособий для преподавателей.
The work is devoted to the analysis of the state of the issue on the research topic, special attention is paid to the existing research methods, the results of comparative assessments of the usability of Cyrillic fonts are considered in detail. The research methods used in this work are also described, including the method we have modified for determining the reading time. When studying the issue, an attempt was made to identify patterns connecting the perception of the text and its spatial characteristics. Using the methodology used, the comparative objective readability (reading speed) was assessed for ten modern fonts, among employees and teachers of a higher educational institution. As a result, the dependence of the perception of the presentation of text information on the spatial characteristics of the typeface was studied using the example of reading speed. The research results can be used in the recruitment of teaching aids for full-time students in order to facilitate the perception of the text, as well as teaching aids for teachers.
