Currently the use of biotechnology in food industry is the actual direction of research, in particular in connection with import substitution and control genetically modified sources in food. The aim of our research is the detection of genetically modified soybean sources in some finished products sold in Russia. In this study, we compare two DNA extraction methods and detection of transgenic soya, used in a large number of soy derivatives prepared foods, such as biscuits, chocolate, processed meats, soy sauce, and tofu.
