Information technology IT works in inventory management system IMS as a tool to increase productivity and reduce costs.
Those private companies that use (IT) in inventory management are successful, while government organization and companies do not. This study taught to determine the role of using information technology in inventory management system in Afghanistan. The object of this study is to establish the Role of IT in the inventory management system (IMS) of Afghanistan. To show, the new strategies, implementation technics, that deal with the day-to-day requirement of any organization. To introduce an easy, secure, and reliable system to making stock management and simplify the use of inventory in Afghanistan. And finally, to modernization and modernize the Inventory Management System IMS of Afghanistan.In this study a descriptive research design has been used. In this research we are going to describe about what is inventory and inventory management, the situation of inventory management. We have to describe about information technology and how it’s going to effect on inventory management system of Afghanistan this research consists of three chapters in first chapter we have to disuse about inventory and its type, inventory management, inventory management system IMS in Afghanistan, the technologies in short, and about the literature review, methodology that I am going to use during this research. In chapter two we have to describe in details about information technology and its impacts on inventory management, also we are going to discuss about some techniques solutions about the problem of Inventory Management System in Afghanistan. We have to learn about technologies that we are going to use as solution to the problem, analyzing the survey result, and finally our own Proposed Method which is merging RFID and Blockchain as the solution.
Chapter three is going to Idea, solution, Decision and finally the Policy recommendation – achievability.
